And now for something different...
I've just handed in revisions on my 19th Presents, and before I start #20 I am working on a separate project that I'm really excited about. I've written several historical novels for a small UK publisher, and one of them, Down Jasper Lane, is close to my heart. My editor at the British magazine The People's Friend asked me to write something along the lines of "Anne of Green Gables meets Little Women" and I accepted eagerly, because frankly, that sounded fantastic. The result is Down Jasper Lane, and this is the original hardcover:
Now that the rights have reverted back to me, I'm self-publishing Down Jasper Lane, and it will be available at all the major ebook retailers including Amazon and Smashwords, hopefully by July 1. The book is revised and expanded, and I hope, better than ever. And here is a sneak peek of the ebook cover, designed by the fabulously talented Lee Hyat of Author Sound Relations:

What do you think? Which cover do you prefer? I'll be celebrating the proper release of Down Jasper Lane in a few weeks, so watch this space for excerpts, blogging announcements, and contest giveaways! In the meantime, I'm being spotlighted at Minxes of Romance so stop by and read all about my latests Presents, The Man Who Could Never Love, as well as my journey to publication and what's next!
