Greetings!
So it's been awhile since I've posted. We went away for a week's vacation, and when I got back it suddenly occurred to me that we're moving to another country in just three months, and I started to panic a little bit. There's a lot to do. And I'll spare you the details of the stomach bug that worked its way through our family and kept me from doing much of anything!

My big news, of course, is that Zoe and The Tormented Tycoon was nominated for a RITA Award by The Romance Writers of America. Being nominated really is an honor and I'm so pleased! You can see the full list of nominees at the Romance Writers of America website.

I've also been writing as much as I can. I've almost finished my second women's fiction novel (the first one is, for the moment, sadly shelved) and also rewriting and adding to a historical novel that was published four years ago by a small press in the UK. The rights have reverted back to me and I'm hoping to republish it in the US. And of course I'm writing Presents! My latest book, Kholodov's Last Mistress, will be released in the UK in November 2011 and I am now working on the next one, which is the third in the newest Modern continuity. It's got a self-made millionaire as the hero and a spoilt princess as the heroine, so you can imagine the sparks that are flying! And even though she's spoilt, my heroine has quite a bit of courage and strength, so I'm really enjoying writing the story.

Has spring arrived where you are (or fall, I suppose, if you're in the southern hemisphere?) It is still chilly out but the trees are budding and there are daffodils in the park--all of it is a balm to my soul!

It's spring indeed here. It's been raining with some regularity so everything here is green again. There are ducklings in the little ponds that I pass on my walks. Best of all, the gardenias and jasmine in my back yard are in bloom. I picked a couple of gardenias and brought them into the house yesterday. The whole house smells divine.
